From June 12 to 14, the Danish design capital celebrates the 2024 edition of 3daysofdesign, themed around "the dream" as a catalyst for creativity and innovation. Over the course of this three-day fair, Copenhagen’s iconic districts—rich in Scandinavian design history—transform into hubs for futuristic visions and projects. The event, rooted in tradition, also welcomes contributions from Italian brands and others worldwide, all embracing the Hygge philosophy of Nordic lifestyle.

House of Finn Juhl proudly presents the Kettelhut Chair, a reissue of the design originally known as SW 86. This chair has been renamed in honor of the former marketing vice president of Baker Furniture, the current owner of the original watercolor design. In the 1950s, they launched and relaunched several of Juhl's designs, leading to this new version aptly named the "Kettelhut".
Finn Juhl designed this armchair with wide arms that frame a cozy seat, intending for it to transcend the borders of Denmark. Consequently, he decided to send the design to Baker Furniture in Michigan, USA.
The armchair's frame is crafted from a combination of oak and solid walnut, while the seat is available in either leather or fabric upholstery.
