Thinking BIG: the new lighting designs for Artemide

A graphic and luminous sign suspended in space, Artemide's Alphabet of Light Circular LED pendant lighting fixture features a minimalist design consisting of a circular element available in different diameters (90 or 120 cm) which allows to create unique lighting compositions. BIG's goal was to design a lighting architecture that could illuminate the space from all angles, defining functional areas and enhancing furnishings without sacrificing innovation and visual comfort. With its minimalist and essential aesthetic, Alphabet of Light Circular exquisitely transforms any residential or commercial environment into a truly unique space.

Artemide's Gople gradient-effect pendant lamp stands out for its essential shape and precious blown glass produced according to an ancient Venetian technique. Every part of Gople exudes captivating beauty: from the simple, rounded lines to the silver, bronze, copper and blue finishes, created through a vacuum metal deposition process called 'sputtering' that produces limited waste. The combination of different colours results in timeless luminous atmospheres that will complement any space and décor.

Created with the purpose of combining light and sound absorption, the Ripple pendant lamp, designed by BIG for Artemide, almost looks like a luminous rug. The circular ring frames, available in different diameters, can be hung in clusters for a truly dramatic visual effect, or equipped with sound-absorbing elements. This unique and sophisticated lighting fixture wonderfully combines functional innovations with a minimal, modular aesthetic. Made of thermally conductive plastics that allow the use of high-power LEDs, Ripple adapts to any space requirement, creating majestic luminous atmospheres.

Versatile and highly functional, the Vine Light table lamp is the perfect mix of design and innovation. It has clean and balanced lines and allows you to adjust the position of the light with great freedom of movement, using two special joints that were developed after thorough technical research. Perfect to illuminate your workstation, Vine Light features a 16 mm continuous section that forms the structure and contains all opto-electronic and mechanical elements. A patented lens allows you to direct the light with precision achieving maximum light emission efficiency, while the upper part of the lamp is equipped with a laser sensor to adjust the light intensity.

Designed by BIG to promote the artisanal glassblowing technique and celebrate the magical beauty of the transparency of glass, the Stellar Nebula collection includes uniquely beautiful pendant lamps. Each piece is different from the other, with absolutely unrepeatable finishes and shapes. Available in three sizes, the pendant version can be combined in clusters to create scenic compositions.
