At Milan Design Week 2025, Davide Groppi unveils a luminous landscape where light is expressed through three absolute languages: White as emission, Black as denial, and Mirror as reflection. A trilogy that transcends chromatics to become philosophical. Here, light transforms into poetic and functional matter—a medium to be modulated, touched, directed. Not merely observed, but fully experienced.
The new lamps are conceived as silent presences, seamlessly integrated into the environment, balancing between presence and absence. These are objects that inhabit space without intruding, allowing light—capable of transforming and narrating—to emerge as the invisible protagonist.
Designed for those who value focus, introspection, and quietude, Mia is a lamp that doesn’t demand attention—it gives it. A discreet companion for reading, writing, or thinking, its essential and linear design follows movement and posture with precision. The adjustable stem and swiveling head ensure light is directed exactly where it’s needed.
Equipped with Extradark technology, Mia minimizes glare and reflection, delivering a sharp, calibrated beam of light—ideal for tasks requiring both visual precision and comfort. Nomadic and unobtrusive, it naturally transitions between table and floor use, subtly reinterpreting the concept of personal lighting.
Inspired by photographic equipment, Set is a modular and versatile system designed for shaping light with precision. Comprising a base, modular stem, and swiveling projector, it allows for highly targeted illumination. With the addition of diffusers, reflectors, and filters, it shifts effortlessly from direct to ambient lighting, crafting atmospheres tailored to any space.
A portable table or floor lamp, OneOff projects a defined circle of light onto the ceiling, evoking a suspended moment between brightness and shadow. A sophisticated optical system gives the beam a near-metaphysical quality, subtly transforming the surrounding space. The ability to adjust the light’s color adds further layers of expressive depth.
Calma is a wall or ceiling lamp that diffuses soft, embracing light to create an intimate ambiance. Its 18-cm opaline spherical glass softens contrasts and eliminates harshness, offering a welcoming, understated glow. Available in matte white, matte black, and glossy gold, Calma integrates gracefully into a wide range of interiors.

Sottile Sistema evolves the concept of minimal light, now offered in 800 mm and 1100 mm lengths. A new connection system enables multiple modules to link through a single power source, allowing free orientation and limitless configurations—amplifying and echoing the architecture of a space.
The new Buio R introduces a spring mechanism for seamless installation in suspended ceilings, preserving the purity of its form. A precise, silent accent light, it disappears into the room while unlocking new creative possibilities.
