Established on the international scene during the Salone del Mobile 2009, thanks to the presentation of some of their furniture, the duo Draga & Aurel succeeded in combining the unique beauty of the past with a new modern style. In the Heritage collection, sideboards and cabinets, salvaged from flea markets and second-hand shops, are reborn under the hands of expert craftsmen in the designers' atelier in Como and reveal an ancient charm that has never been forgotten.
Every detail, including the imperfections, acquires a new exclusive stylistic value. The result is splendid, timeless works of art that go beyond trends and habits: Cora, Elias and the splendid 1950s chest of drawers Nora are just some of the pieces created in recent years.
Intense and captivating, the 1960s Swiss sideboard Elias stands out for its beauty. The brass galvanized metal frame and handles enhance the beautiful front, decorated with a combination of bright colours and finished with epoxy resin. The balanced proportions and simple form make it perfect for furnishing any room. Restored and redesigned according to the artist's taste, it does not lose its original charm and typical historical details, such as the feet raised from the ground.

With simple, almost playful lines, the Nora chest of drawers, of Italian origin, clearly echoes the typical style of the 1950s with its shape, height and proportions. The slightly convex teak outer structure with handmade French polishing creates an intense contrast with the shaded colours of the front, which almost seem to conceal the drawer openings and brass handles. The lightness of the legs supports the compact volume, providing a versatile and functional piece of furniture.
Striking are the colour contrasts, bold and sophisticated. The legs in brass and wood contrast with the front decorated with silk-screen printing, as if it were an abstract painting. The 1950s sideboard Oliver is transformed into an impressive and interesting object. Its length of approximately 266 cm includes both closed storage compartments and small drawers, superimposed on the main structure, which is made of rosewood with a handmade French polishing. This piece enchants and significantly enhances the living area of residential or contract settings.
Elegance is at the centre of this piece. Hans Von Klier's 1970s Jan sideboard for Skipper has been restored and restyled to suit refined and charming environments.
The walnut frame with French handmade polishing and gold-plated metal finishes stand out, clearly defining the compositional elements of the structure. A row of four drawers, two doors with glass shelves inside and two large drawers are combined harmoniously to create a visually striking piece of furniture.
