Art of the Unique: Maxalto 2024 collection previewed at Maison&Objet
For this year's Maison&Objet event, Maxalto unveils at its Paris store the 2024 collection, designed by Antonio Citterio. With the "Art of the Unique" concept, Maxalto transcends the boundaries of high-end furniture to embody the essence of uniqueness through its Atelier service, which provides the opportunity to customize dimensions and finishes for specific items within the collection. The production process is rooted in craftsmanship yet always guided by an industrial approach.
Among the exciting new arrivals for 2024 is the Florius sofa—an essential design complemented by a number of cushions. With Florius, the brand introduces a new pinstripe fabric featuring discontinuous stripes in three distinct colorways, accentuating the sofa's geometries.
The Artemone storage furniture collection emerges from Antonio Citterio's vision to reimagine the classic dinette connected to the kitchen in a contemporary light. The metal base boasts a delicate design, providing a striking contrast to the wooden upper part, which is more voluminous and features a distinctively tactile texture.
Soleide is a series of small tables and consoles that bring an entirely new dimension to the Maxalto collection. The distinctive touch lies in the hand-hammered mirrored steel top, adding a precious quality to its design and transforming each piece into a unique work of art.
Maxalto expands the Caratos collection with the introduction of two new swivel seats: a lounge chair featuring a high back and a removable, adjustable headrest, and a dining chair with armrests and a practical swivel base that facilitates easy movement without the need to move the chair.
