Flos, a leading Italian lighting brand, presents its new exciting designs: Almendra, a refined suspension lamp designed by Patricia Urquiola; Mayday Outdoor, the outdoor version of Konstantin Grcic's modern and functional lamp, also presented in a new, original indoor color; Oblique Floor, a floor variation of Vincent Van Duysen's homonymous lamp; and, finally, the new pop palette of the iconic Luminator, designed by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni in the 1950s.
Almendra
Almendra comes in three poetic variants, arched, linear and organic, each of them available in different lengths; the 60° rotation of each petal allows for multiple configurations and lighting atmospheres; they can be arranged in a variety of positions, as long as they maintain the symmetry and balance of the lamp. Elegant, light and sinuous, it is proposed in two metallic pastel tones, a vibrant ochre and three neutral colors.
Almendra is a modular lighting system designed by Patricia Urquiola and whose organic forms recall an almond tree: a lyrical and refined design that pairs innovation and sustainability with cutting-edge technology: the suspension lamp's petals are, in fact, made in a special polycarbonate derived from a by-product of paper production; every part of the lamp is also recyclable.
