Master of the chair and major organic Modernism designer, Hans J. Wegner is considered one of the most creative and prolific Danish authors of all times. Staging incredible aesthetic grace, his style becomes the expression of a perfect mix between functionality and elegance, inseparable components of a formal and expressive minimalism. During his career, Wegner designed more than 500 chairs that represent still today a sapient example of everlasting artistic creativity.
His works are exhibited in the world's most renowned design museums. Among the most loved creations, the Wishbone Chair occupies a prestigious place in the collections of the Museum of Modern Art in New York, of the Designmuseum Danmark in Copenhagen and of the Die Neue Sammlung in Munich.
