Mohd Sinfonia: a new harmonious blend of design and music for the Salone del Mobile 2023
Mohd Sinfonia, the new exhibition setup at Mohd Officina for Salone del Mobile 2023, presents an unprecedented and exclusive design selection in an evocative multi-sensory setting, curated by Nichetto Studio in collaboration with Steinway & Sons.
At centre stage, the Gran Nichetto piano, designed by Luca Nichetto for Steinway & Sons and displayed in Italy for the first time, connects and "announces" the 13 new sets that occupy the Mohd Officina space, once again expressing plurality "as vision, style, method, passion".
A cloud of draped fabric descends from the ceiling vaults, designing a soft, luminous architecture. In a scenography of lights and sinuous shapes, the rooms follow one another, as if separated by scenic backdrops, revealing the 2023 collections by Baxter, Ginori 1735, Gallotti & Radice, as well as the new collaborations joining the sophisticated designs in the Milan selection, including Pierre Augustin Rose, Toogood, and De la Espada.
