Molteni&C 2025: a new chapter in the story of Italian elegance

With the 2025 Collection, Molteni&C pays a poetic tribute to the city of Milan, interpreting contemporary living through furnishings that bridge memory and modernity. Under the creative direction of Vincent Van Duysen, the collection moves fluidly between historical layers and innovative visions, drawing inspiration from archival designs and iconic projects of the 1970s and 1980s, reimagined through a refined, architectural lens.

Molteni Collection

Exploring every facet of the home—from sleeping systems to boiserie, from carpets by Marta Ferri to new dining concepts—the collection forms a cohesive and elegant universe. It’s conceived to furnish a spacious Milanese apartment with style, where heritage meets cosmopolitan flair.

Molteni Eugène

At the heart of the living area are Christophe Delcourt’s new sculptural creations: the modular and refined Emile seating system, designed for open, flowing spaces, and the Eugène armchair, with enveloping, sculpted lines that embody bespoke comfort.

For the dining area, Molteni&C curates refined, dramatic compositions, where Christophe Delcourt’s new sculptural pieces dialogue with reissued historical bestsellers. The interplay of forms and materials creates a striking balance of contrasts and continuity, shaping environments of timeless elegance and visual impact.

Among the most captivating additions to Molteni&C’s dining collection are the new pieces by Christophe Delcourt, which blend sculptural presence with refined simplicity. The Lise table, defined by bold, material lines, is a tribute to design purity: its two opposing legs—curved and slender—intersect in a fluid gesture that brings both dynamism and lightness to the composition. A statement piece designed for spacious, elegant settings, it perfectly embodies the brand’s total living philosophy, where aesthetics and functionality coexist in perfect harmony.

Complementing it is the Pénélope console table, a more compact interpretation of the same sculptural language. Retaining the plastic elegance of the Lise table, it becomes a statement piece within the living space. Together, these creations embody the material richness and sophisticated aesthetic of the 2025 dining collection.

Monk Molteni

Alongside new designs, Molteni&C revisits a historical icon with the reissue of the Monk chair, originally designed in 1973 by Afra and Tobia Scarpa. Now part of the Heritage 2025 Collection, Monk preserves the essential, disciplined character of the original: a solid wood frame—available in American walnut, black oak, or coffee—meets tubular steel supports and a taut leather seat and back, forming a perfectly balanced composition of form and material. Burnished steel hubs add both a functional and decorative accent to its almost monastic aesthetic.

Also offered in a wider, more relaxed armchair version, Monk returns as a powerful expression of the formal language and craftsmanship that defined the collaboration between the Scarpa duo and Molteni&C—an iconic revival that unites history, quality, and authenticity.

Andromeda Molteni

In the living area, new complementary furnishings reflect the perfect synthesis of functionality and refined style. The Andromeda sideboard—designed by UniFor and Studio LSM—emerged from the evocative setting of the Andromeda Theater. It stands out for its architectural precision: polished aluminum and graphene glass form floating volumes, seamlessly joined for a sense of lightness and clarity.

Aria Molteni

Aria, a new desk by Vincent Van Duysen, reinterprets the writing desk with minimalist sophistication: sharp lines, a folded metal structure, and a top in Ecoskin (ivory or dark brown) paired with an integrated drawer secured by a hidden magnetic system. Essential yet elegant, Aria is designed to transition fluidly between home and office settings, underscoring the collection’s total living philosophy.

In the bedroom, GamFratesi’s Tibeau bed pays tribute to the tactile beauty of solid wood, interpreted through bold sculptural lines inspired by tribal forms. Evoking ancient craftsmanship and architectural solidity, the bed reflects Molteni&C’s deep reverence for noble materials and artisanal skill. Its distinctive “T”-shaped headboard anchors the piece with balance and presence, perfectly attuned to the refined, authentic spirit of the 2025 collection.

Molteni Theo
