The new Muuto 2022 furniture collection

The Muuto 2022 collection was imagined precisely for this purpose: on the one hand, the aim was to enrich existing products with new colours and, on the other hand, to present original furniture that is as contemporary as possible. Bold creative thinking and simple beauty that does not lose elegance, as in the case of the Fiber chair, which becomes more sustainable, and the Cover lounge chair, enhanced by new nuances. The latest Piton and Strand lamps emphasise soft, playful lines while never overlooking functionality.
A combination of Scandinavian craftsmanship ideals and a modern design language, the Cover lounge chair is embellished with new colours in the Muuto 2022 collection, while remaining faithful to a simple and refined design. The iconic Fiber armchair, in its non-upholstered variant, embraces sustainability thanks to its composite of 80% recycled plastic and FSC™-certified wood fibres. Lightweight materials merge with functionality and an inviting, comfortable design. Soft and playful modern forms paired with small strands to create an almost cloud-like appearance. The Strand pendant lamp, designed for the new Muuto 2022 furniture collection, presents new, intriguing details: the top and bottom openings of the structure provide both diffused and direct lighting, and the sprayed cocoon material, a plastic polymer with microfilaments, filters the light for a warm and comfortable glow. Created by British designer Benjamin Hubert, alone or in combination with other elements, Strand brings harmony to any room.
Inspired by the archetypal flashlight, Piton becomes a contemporary and versatile reinterpretation of a portable battery-powered lamp. The geometric anodised aluminium structure allows for use lying, standing, tilted on a shelf or suspended, as required. Suitable for indoor or outdoor spaces, Piton, presented in the new Muuto 2022 collection, is the essence of versatility: it has a rechargeable USB power source, 6 hours of battery life at 100% brightness and 13.5 hours at 50% brightness. The LED light bulb also allows for focused and indirect lighting.
