Playful and sinuous, the Dudet armchair, designed by Patricia Urquiola for Cassina is characterised by three elements: the seat cushion and two tubes that transform into the back and legs, without interruptions, like a continuous line. Included in Cassina's 2021 collection, Dudet recalls the typical shapes of the furniture of the 70s but with the introduction of innovative aspects related to sustainability.

The term Rift literally indicates a break or crack and, in fact, the designer Patricia Urquiola wanted to represent in a chair the unpredictability of some natural phenomena and their inevitable consequences. Like multi-level plates, the layers overlap becoming fluid sinuous volumes, which almost seem to simulate movement. Rift, made for Moroso, shows rigidity and rigor, but also flexibility and beauty.
