Poltrona Frau celebrates its 110th anniversary with a precious collection that expresses the needs and expectations of contemporary living. The new Homey table and the Nice armchair by GamFratesi, the Happy Jack sofa by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, or reissues of iconic pieces like the Archibald armchair by Jean-Marie Massaud, all draw on the brand's authenticity and solid tradition, launching it towards a future of home living with a distinctive style and quality.
The Nice armchair, designed by GamFratesi, is the star of the dining room. With its organic shape, it embraces and supports the body: two shells that open up into an enveloping comfort, emphasized by sophisticated upholstery in Pelle Frau leather or fabric. Nice boasts a strong and solid line, supported by slender legs, perfect both in modern residential settings and in contemporary hospitality areas.
With Homey, the GamFratesi design duo highlights the importance of the dining table in the domestic sphere: pure, sharp lines exalt the precious materials and the graphic geometry of the different sizes. The brand's skillful leather processing is celebrated in the reference to the sartorial art of the leg ends that, when folded, come together without ever touching, and then gently open at the top, creating a special interplay of shadows and layering. The wooden or marble tops are combined with the die-cast aluminium legs; an elegant contrast that outlines a table with a distinctive and refined style.
Roberto Lazzeroni designed Montera Mas starting from the sinuous and enveloping profile of its seat and backrest: an elegant organic shape covered in sumptuous Pelle Frau leather or precious removable fabric that is renewed today with lightweight slender metal legs and appealing two-tone leather upholstery.
The Happy Jack sofa, designed by Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, features a compact design that fits even in small spaces. Its flexible modules make it possible to model comfortable linear or corner seating, or even elegant compositions with chaise longue elements. The sofa presents rounded and soft shapes, curved and enveloping cushions and fine upholstery that invite guests to relax; its lightness is provided by the aluminium feet that lift it from the ground.
A prism of light produces the vibrant digital colors used by artist Felipe Pantone to cover the Archibald Anniversary Limited Edition, a reissue of Jean-Marie Massaud's iconic armchair.
Different textures, transparencies and a graceful patterns of full and empty spaces are the inspiration behind Lloyd Tex, a freestanding bookcase designed by Jean-Marie Massaud. Materials and high technology merge in an amusing and dynamic balance. The different sizes and widths allow the double-sided freestanding bookcase to furnish any space, also serving as a functional room divider.
The Ren bookcase by Neri&Hu also comes in a freestanding version. The concept is based on the eponymous Chinese ideogram made up of two lines symbolizing the human figure: a minimal and graphic bookcase that becomes a functional space divider thanks to its perpendicular uprights, which are no longer inclined to the wall as in the previous versions.
The sinuous curve of Aurora Tre's upholstered headboard by Tito Agnoli emphasizes the aesthetics of soft volumes and light lines that belong to modern living. Aurora Tre features a base with a characteristic trapezoidal shape in two elegant finishes or cylindrical feet in black painted metal. The Pelle Frau leather upholstery or the range of Poltrona fabrics enhance the elegance of this revisitation of a Poltrona Frau classic.
