Steel Furniture.

The sinuous beauty of steel.

Hard and cold steel transforms its whole image, asserting itself as an unconventional material with tasteful and peculiar features. No longer considered only as a structural or decorative element, it becomes the real protagonist the furniture industry and revolutionizes its role in the interior design world. The metal furniture pieces produced by Edra, Knoll and Bonaldo merge the extreme versatility of this material and their excellent work of craftsmanship. The perfect combination to create sinuous and soft shapes, staking everything on a luxury effect.

Designed during the 1950s for Knoll, the Bertoia Side Chair has become an everlasting design icon. This authentic artwork combines Harry Bertoia's creative genius with a material applied primarily to industrial and common use. The astounding tubular steel patterns complete the structure and blend functionality and art, enhancing the beauty of steel. It radiates a sense of lightness, also thanks to the transparency provided by the steel frames that make it perfect for any indoor setting, from the kitchen to the living room.

"If you look at these chairs, they are mainly made of air, like sculpture. Space passes right through them."

Like a cloud of interweaved steel wires, the Corallo armchair by Edra is the symbol of a prodigious artistic craftsmanship. Conceived by brothers Fernando and Humberto Campana's unique and original creativity, it features an apparently rough structure, made of over 900 welds brushed, rounded and finished by hand. When touched, the large seat disclose its absolute softness and comfort, strengthening the design concept pursued by the Brazilian brothers: constantly looking for new materials and unusual shapes.

"Design is not just about functionality: it's about concepts, getting a reaction, not following trends, following your own heart."

Fluid and sinuous. The Sceptre stainless steel coffee table reveals an attractive and abstract design, capable of altering the whole look of a room. The idea of Eichholtz's designer was to give rise to a pleasant contrast between the hardness of the material and the lightness of its rounded silhouette. It is available in two sizes and several finishes, each one extremely refined and sumptuous.

Inspired by the circular orbits of the stars during the earth’s rotation, the Orion coffee table, conceived by Australian designer Jarrod Lim, represents the perfect mixture of different modern stylistic influences. A crystal or ceramic top enriches its minimalist and simple flair. Its eclectic inflection is disclosed by the structure, characterized by the overlapping of thin curved and painted steel tubes. The coffee table, available in three sizes, becomes a refined and functional element.
