An authentic example of Made in Italy, Tacchini reaffirms its role as a reference of Italian and international design again this year at Salone del Mobile 2022. Passion and excellent craftsmanship, which have always been staples in the company's philosophy, are transformed into precious objects that can transmit strong emotions and show the perfect symbiosis between tradition and technological progress. Some examples are the Le Mura sofa by Mario Bellini, reissued and presented in the new Tacchini collection, the ethereal Gunta lamps by Studiopepe, and the Dolmen coffee tables designed by Noé Duchaufour-Lawrence as if they were sculptures.
Mario Bellini's Le Mura sofa takes center stage in the collection presented by the Tacchini brand at Salone del Mobile 2022 in Spazio Maiocchi. It is the reissue of an icon which highlights modularity and elegance, since ever its most seductive original features. The timeless design is intended to represent a response to the new needs of modern living and a symbol of connection between different eras that does not fade away fifty years later.
Kvadrat's completely sustainable, ecological and certified fabrics cover the seating units, which can be easily matched in endless combinations. Le Mura is thus suitable for use in both large and rather small spaces, without ever neglecting its distinctive stylistic flair. Comfortable and enveloping, it is a sofa that invites conversation.
Like an ethereal, floating sculpture, the Gunta luminous room divider, designed by Studiopepe, captures the eye and turns shapes into unique design objects, thanks to the plastic material that allows the creation of soft, sinuous lines. Its function as a divider blends with a new creativity that interprets and experiments with different spatial configurations. Available in two sizes, Gunta is made of cocoon resin fiber on a metal frame.
Shaped by wind erosion, sun and rain, Dolmen coffee tables look like perfectly polished, primitive sculptures that emerge from the ground. French designer Noé Duchaufour-Lawrance creates these functional and visually striking furniture pieces for Tacchini. Made entirely of Breccia Bresciana marble or Fior di Pesco Carsico marble, which are extracted near the production site, the Dolmen tables are united by a perfect joint and available in two sizes.
A combination of different materials and shapes, the Kanji low table collection, designed by Monica Förster for Tacchini, reveals strong character and compositional personality. The idea of juxtaposing heavy elements with lighter ones, using different thicknesses and contrasting colors, makes the furniture elegant and highly versatile. The silhouette of the legs, in walnut-stained ash wood or in the dark gray variant, accommodates the round top in Breccia Bresciana or Fior di Pesco Carsico marble for a more serious effect.
Sublime intersection. Mill comes from designer Monica Förster's desire to revisit the classic small tables with central support, using only two elements and emphasizing (instead of hiding) their point of interlocking. The form, resembling a millstone with its characteristic hole, is simple and available in two sizes.
