Born from a perfect balance between essential lines and contemporary functionality, the transformable furniture adapt to modern life and to the ever-changing daily needs. Modern spaces thus become further flexible and multifunctional, perfect to suit any context and dimension.
From Lax, the extendable table by More to the flap doors of the 36e8 Desk by LAGO, convertible to a comfortable work desk, every object is characterised by a special and eclectic feature.
Inspired by the Barcelona Pavilion built in 1929, the LAX table designed by Gil Coste for More is characterised by a top in solid wood of 30 mm thick. The continuity of the top contrasts with the crossed shape of the legs, able to add movement and dynamism to the structure. Coming in a variety of wood essences, LAX is also available in the extendable version.
The Togo table stands out for its innovative opening that makes it look like a flower. Four hidden triangular extensions open up when needed to transform the table top into a square of 140 x 140 cm, adding up to four seats. LAGO has created an extendable table suitable for any setting and perfect to host guests, thanks to the position of the legs allowing great freedom of movement. The play of materials, combined to create a chromatic contrast between the top and the extensions, is also of particular note.
Linear and minimal, the Massimosistema sofa bed from Poltrona Frau Style & Design Centre comes with a built-in folding system able to easily transform the sofa into a bed. The mechanism, completely hidden in the structure, makes Massimosistema a versatile furnishing rich of details, like the leather handle and the seams on the surface.
Made of Frau® leather or completely removable fabric, it features a comfortable and large base only available in a single version, made up of 182 slats.
Like a sheet that seems to detach from a wall, the Sfoglia shelf by Mogg can be easily used either as a table top or a practical writing desk, thanks to its remarkable 42 cm depth. Entirely made of metal and available in burnished and patinated bronze finishes, it can be transformed into a versatile and multifunctional object, perfect to decorate even small spaces. The shelf can be mounted to the wall in different positions, giving rise to customised combinations suitable for the available space. Characterised by minimal lines, Sfoglia has been created by the designers Bellavista & Piccini and was exhibited at the Milan Design Week 2019.
The 36e8 Desk fully embodies the unmistakable LAGO style and approach, providing absolute compositional freedom. It is a flap door in wildwood or lacquered, entirely customisable in LAGO sizes and colours. Once opened, it can be transformed into a space-saving desk. Easy to move, it is perfect to meet the new home office needs, serving both as a storage unit and a table top. It is easily sanitisable and can be equipped with some options like LED lighting and a power outlet.
