Vitra takes its inspiration from Charles and Ray Eames' home philosophy: a harmonious balance of shapes, colours and personal experiences, where memories, cherished objects, convivial dinners and bonding moments all come together to create a lively collage that connects past, present and future.

From classic to more contemporary versions, Vitra has been producing seating solutions tailored to any requirement for seventy years, breathing new life to its pieces through a careful and meticulous research. The Eames Shell Chair, the archetypal seat that has become globally known thanks to the genius, commitment and dedication of creators Charles and Ray Eames, is now available in a variety of materials, colours, styles and upholstery options, creating endless configurations, with or without armrests. In the cosy Eames House in California, Charles and Ray often used their functional chairs both inside their residence and outdoor areas, depending on their needs.

In 2023, the Eames Shell Chairs collection was expanded with the introduction of the Eames Fiberglass Chair SLR with its fibreglass shell, the Eames Plastic Chair LSR with its polypropylene shell and the lightweight Eames Wire Chair LKR with its mesh seat that seems to float above the intricate base. With the exception of Fiberglass, the chair's new versions are suitable for outdoor use as well and can be paired with the Soft Seats cushions, also available in an outdoor option. The shell and base come in new spring colours that create bold combinations: citron, sky blue, dark green and the original Eames Seafoam Green.

With a broad range of base styles, the Hal chair, Jasper Morrison's interpretation of the Eames' versatile shell chairs, is suited to all kinds of uses. Now, Vitra takes another step towards sustainability with the introduction of the Hal Re version, made from recycled plastics from household waste. The composition of the recycled plastic material adds an original dotted effect to the shell, which further expand their colour range with new cardboard and basalt colours.

Food, colours and materials all come together on the Vitra table to create a collage of emotions and beauty, while fresh flowers add a bright and warm touch. The Accessoires Collection also includes vases and ceramics made of precious materials and with fascinating colours, perfect to bring joy and beauty to your outdoor table.

The limited edition of the Nuage vase stands out for its originality: each single vase is dipped in coloured solutions that give it a fascinating and ever-changing metallic hue, emphasising the sculptural curved shapes of Ronan Bouroullec's vase.

The Terracotta Pots, designed by Théolonious Goupil, are made from dense, fired clay: hollow columns that serve as pedestals for plants creating an interesting interplay of heights and widths.
